Justice Minister Haim Ramon said Wednesday that diplomatic efforts to bring home Gilad Shalit appear to have run their course.
"My feeling, and this is my opinion, is that diplomacy has been exausted," Ramon told Israel Radio. "We gave it a chance even though we didn't invest much hope in it."
