Rescue workers extract body of car crash victim

Petah Tikva firefighters have managed to extract the body of one of the people killed in Friday night's car accident in Petah Tikva, Israel Radio reported. During the crash, a 17-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man were killed; the young driver survived the crash with serious wounds. Police found from an initial investigation that the driver lost control of the vehicle, swerved out of his lane and crashed into the wall dividing the two lanes. Police suspect that he was intoxicated while driving.
