Retired police officer suspected of receiving bribes

A retired police officer who used to be the head of investigations department in the Migdal Ha'emek station is suspected of accepting bribes on a number of occasions in exchange for taking care of complaints.
The officer will be brought before a Nazareth Magistrate's Court Judge for a remand extension. He denied the allegations and claimed that the funds he received were actually loans.
