'Saudi paper: Israel to release all Hamas prisoners for Schalit'

Amos Gilad, head of the Defense Ministry's Diplomatic-Security Bureau, notified Egypt that Israel has agreed to release all Hamas prisoners in exchange for kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Schalit, a Palestinian source quoted a Saudi newspaper as reporting on Thursday.
Talking to Israel Radio, the Palestinian said that Gilad had traveled to Cairo last week to ensure the number of prisoners demanded by Hamas did not grow.
The source added that Israel would authorize the release of 450 prisoners appearing on Hamas's list of demands once a new government is formed. Thereafter, Israel would free 550 more of its choice, he said.
However, Gilad said there was no truth in the report.
