A group of five Israeli settlers, including off-duty IDF soldiers, shot and killed a Palestinian terrorist who opened fire on the group in the West Bank on Friday afternoon. According to initial reports, the terrorists fired shots at the Israelis whilst they were hiking in a valley north of Beit El. Subsequently, members of the group returned fire, killing one of the terrorists. Backup security forces from the Binyamin division were alerted simultaneously, and succeeded in capturing the second armed suspect. Reports from nearby Palestinian villages alleged that the man was hunting when the settlers killed him. IDF security forces are currently looking into the incident. Earlier Friday, two IDF soldiers, residents of Kiryat Arba, were murdered whilst hiking in the Telem Valley. The Israelis, Ahikam Amihai and David Rubin, were shot and killed by Palestinian terrorists in a passing car.
