Former IDF Chief of Staff Lt-Gen (res.) Amnon Lipkin-Shahak is to head the special team which will implement the Winograd Commission's interim report, Israel Radio reported Tuesday night.
Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is expected to request the cabinet Wednesday morning to approve the special team which will discuss the report and submit its findings within 30 days.
The government is then to decide on a panel of ministers, headed by Olmert himself, to examine the implementations of the interim report conclusions.
