Shinui decided Sunday that it would not run on a joint list with Uzi Dayan's Tafnit party in the March Knesset elections, Army Radio reported.
"[Our] party has a tradition of many years' standing," Shinui officials said. "Dayan is a respected figure, but doesn't fit in with Shinui," they continued.
