State Attorney closes Shalom Simhon freebie probe

State Attorney Moshe Lador has decided to close the investigation against Agriculture Minister Shalom Simhon, who was suspected of receiving favors from a public company. It had been alleged that Simhon received free trips and hotel accommodation for himself and his family from Cargo Air Lines in 2004 and 2005 (CAL) while serving as environment minister. Lador informed Simhon on Friday that he was closing the case due to insufficient evidence.
