State Prosecution: Police should help evacuate settlers from Hebron home

The police should help evacuate the settlers from the contested Hebron home, the State Prosecution said Sunday. In response to a petition to the High Court of Justice, the Prosecution wrote that the home legally belonged to a Palestinian resident of the West Bank town and was forcibly taken away from him. The Prosecution went on to say that the Society for the Renewal of the Jewish Quarter in Hebron, that petitioned the court against the evacuation, relied on forged documents in their petition. The hearing will continue next week.
