The security establishment raised the alert level in the Jordan Valley due to concrete terror warnings in the area. Roadblocks have been raised in the area, and at the main checkpoint in the Jordan Valley, soldiers were ordered to be stricter in their vehicle checks. Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz ordered a general closure of the territories for the Purim Holiday, but extended the closure until the weekend following the raid of the Jericho prison on Tuesday.
