Toddler killed, ten people wounded in traffic accidents

A one-and-half-year-old toddler from the Beduin el-Anur tribe died in hospital after being hit by a car near the southern city of Arad on Saturday, Israel Radio said. Initial investigations by police suggested that the boy was hit by the car of a relative driving in reverse. In the north of the country, ten people were injured as two vans collided near the Tel Adashim junction. Police were investigating at the scene.
