Transfer of 100m to needy Holocaust survivors to start this week

The Israeli Organization for the Restitution of Assets for Holocaust Victims announced Tuesday that it would start transferring NIS 100 million to assist Holocaust survivors. This week, some NIS 75 million will be transferred for urgent assistance to needy survivors. Each survivor will receive NIS 6,000 by direct deposit without the need to fill out a form. An additional NIS 25 million will be transferred to support programs run by special institutions that provide aid to Holocaust survivors.
