Two border policemen lightly injured by settler children hurling rocks

Two border policemen were lightly injured on Saturday afternoon by rocks thrown by young settlers near Hebron. One of the policemen was treated at a Jerusalem hospital. Crowds of settlers gathered near an illegal outpost which was demolished earlier in the week. Border policemen guarding Palestinian houses in the vicinity were hit by rocks that they said were thrown by children. In a statement, the Border Police said it viewed settlers using small children as a most severe issue, especially when directed against security forces. "We will bring those responsible to court for breach of order and injuring troops," the statement read. The settlers, however, claimed that a border policeman attacked a 10-year-old boy, and that the rocks were thrown in response.
