Two men in their forties, Yoram Weizmann and Hassan Mahmoud, were killed and 12 people were injured Wednesday night when two cars and a van collided near Ramat Yishai. Two of the injured were in serious condition, another was moderately injured and the rest suffered light injuries. The injured included a group of Cameri Theater actors and technicians returning from a showing of 'Was it a Dream?' in Tiberias. One of the seriously injured people was the play's star, Helena Yarlova. Actor Eli Gorenstein was also lightly injured in the accident. The injured were evacuated to hospital and police were investigating the accident. An initial investigation showed that the two men killed, who were both in the same car, had for some reason veered from their lane and collided head-on with the van. The second vehicle then hit the two others.
