University tuition won't be raised but start of semester still in doubt

University and college tuition will not be increased for the upcoming academic year, university and college presidents and Monday, but the start of the next university semester remains in doubt.
The Council of University Presidents held an emergency meeting on Monday, during which it decided that universities would not open on their scheduled date of November 2 if universities are not guaranteed additional resources in accordance with the Shochat Committee's draft plan.
