Vanunu says PM's nuclear remarks vindicate him

Nuclear whistle-blower Mordechai Vanunu, who was released from prison in 2004 after serving 18 years for disclosing secret information on Israel's nuclear program, called on Tuesday for the authorities to grant him full freedom in light of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's remarks to a German TV station on Monday. In the interview, Olmert appeared to include Israel in a list of nuclear nations, but the Prime Minister's Office denied that he had tipped Israel's nuclear hand and explained the blunder as an English language mix-up.
