'Winograd report will harm political leaders'

The impression that the Winograd Committee's interim report, set to be published on March 27, will not harm the political leadership, is wrong, Channel 10 quoted members of the committee as saying on Monday night. Reportedly, members of the committee, which is probing the failures of the summer's war in Lebanon, bemoaned the leaks that emerged last week about the interim report, calling them "disinformation" and added that those politicians being investigated by the committee were "trying to influence us." On Wednesday, the committee plans to release a preliminary document ahead of the publication of the interim report, Channel 10 said.
