A 30-year-old woman was found murdered in her house in Shibli, near Afula on Tuesday.
The woman was found with multiple wounds.
Afula Police arrested the woman's brother on suspicion of the murder.
The circumstances were unclear.
Also Monday, Ronnie Ron, suspected of killing his four-year-old granddaughter Rose Pizem, and Rose's mother Marie Pizem, suspected of involvement in her murder, were remanded for a further 15 days in custody on Tuesday at a Ramle Magistrate's Court hearing.
Army Radio reported that police were preparing to charge the two with murder even though Rose's body has still not been found.
The search for the body was continuing, focusing on the Yarkon River.
