Shas chairman, and Security Cabinet member, Eli Yishai criticized the IDF's Operation Summer Rains on Monday.
Yishai told Army radio that the operation deep into the Gaza Strip endangered IDF troops. "I am not opposed to military action, but to the ground incursion into Gaza," said the Shas chairman. "It is preferable to act in other ways, without harming our soldiers."
Yishai added that a village from where Kassam rockets are fired "should be wiped out," without risking soldiers' lives in the process.
