Minor from Yitzhar settlement admits to pelting car, injuring Palestinian mother and daughter on Friday.

A minor from the Yitzhar settlement near Nablus was arrested on Sunday for allegedly taking part in the stoning of a vehicle carrying a Palestinian family on Friday that left a mother and daughter injured.
The suspect admitted involvement in the incident, Judea and Samaria police said, adding that he would appear before a Kfar Saba court on Monday.
Falastin Said Ma'ali, 31, who is six months pregnant, and her daughter Hadil Hazam Ma'ali, seven, are both at Tel Aviv's Ichilov Hospital after being transferred by the Civil Administration of Judea and Samaria from a Nablus hospital. Falastin is expected to undergo surgery to deal with internal bleeding in her brain, her husband, Hazam, told The Jerusalem Post outside of Ichilov.
"I've been rushing between my wife and my daughter. I've covered more ground on foot here at the hospital than the distance from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem," Hazam Ma'ali said.
"We were driving from our home in Ramallah to a cousin's wedding in Jenin, with our three daughters sitting in the back. We had to turn around because of engine trouble, and as we passed the Yitzhar junction we saw four people on the road. My wife said, 'Watch out!' But it was too late - a large slab had been thrown through our windshield," Ma'ali said.
"He dropped it right on us. My wife made a sound and began bleeding. I stopped and then decided to continue to the Hawara checkpoint outside of Nablus. As I opened the car doors, my daughter fell out, injured - the slab had made it all the way to the back windscreen," he said.
IDF soldiers called in a medic and attempted to organize transport to an Israeli hospital, but a civil administration official advised Ma'ali to immediately have his wife and daughter taken to a Nablus hospital, from which a transfer to an Israeli hospital could then take place.
"My daughter's eyes were puffed up, she could not open them. I needed to get her to an eye specialist immediately. An X-ray of my wife's head showed internal bleeding," Ma'ali said.
While satisfied that his wife and daughter are receiving proper treatment, Ma'ali is concerned about who will cover the hospital bills. "How much do you think a bill for this treatment will come to? The hospital has asked me to provide written approval that the Palestinian Authority's Health Ministry will foot the bill. I haven't gotten that yet. I will seek the advice of lawyers in Israel over this," he said.
Ma'ali is the representative of the Strauss-Elite food company in the Palestinian Authority.
He says the attack has not changed his views on peace. "Three months ago in Eilat, my family and I vacationed with the Israeli managers of the company and their families. No one said to their children, don't play with this child, he is Arab or Jewish. What should I tell my girl? I will tell her that there are good and bad people on both sides. I will explain that there are people on both sides who do not want peace."
