ADL National Director Abraham Foxman received the 2014 Menachem Begin Prize at the Menachem Begin Heritage Center on Wednesday night.
Deputy Foreign Minister Tzahi Hanegbi was on hand to award Foxman the prize.
The center's director Herzl Makov praised Foxman for being "at the frontlines of defending the State of Israel" for the past 50 years.
Foxman announced in February that he will be stepping down from his position as national director of the ADL on July 20, 2015.
