Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas had asked during the Sharm e-Sheikh summit to release Marwan Brghouti from prison, the London-based Al Hayat was quoted by Israel Radio, Tuesday. According to the report, Abbas believes that a free Barghouti could strengthen Fatah by breathing new hope in the hearts of Palestinians living in the West Bank.
