An explosion reportedly erupted in an unused building in Gaza City on Wednesday, and Palestinian ambulances were racing to the scene.
According to Palestinian officials, the cause of the blast was uncertain. No casualties had yet been reported.
In late July, six people were killed in a mysterious car bomb explosion in Gaza City that Hamas blamed on internal Palestinian opponents.
