Fatalities reported as bomb explodes near troops in northern Lebanon

A car bomb exploded near a bus carrying troops in Lebanon on Monday morning, causing fatalities, Lebanese security officials said. The officials did not immediately say how many people were killed and wounded in the blast in the northern city of Tripoli. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to the media.
