Haniyeh to Sarkozy: We want to help stabilize the region

Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on Sunday wrote to French President Nicolas Sarkozy, asking him to help the Palestinian people.
In his letter, Haniyeh said that his government is "willing to cooperate with the international community in order to increase security and stabilize the region."
