The chief investigator probing the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri said Wednesday that the case could be solved.
Canadian prosecutor Daniel Bellemare told the UN Security Council that his investigation team had uncovered fresh information that may link additional individuals to the network responsible for the February 2005 assassination.
He said progress also has been made in identifying where the suicide bomber came from - and additional evidence has been found linking the Hariri assassination to other killings in Lebanon. He gave no details.
