Two US Marines were killed fighting in Anbar province, the area of western Iraq where many Sunni-Arab insurgents are based, the military said Sunday. Assigned to the Regimental Combat Team 5 and Regimental Combat Team 7, the Marines died Saturday from wounds sustained due to enemy action while operating in Anbar Province, the command said. Their names were withheld pending notification of relatives.
