A Lebanese military official said the army dismantled a bomb in northern Lebanon on a main road leading to the Syrian border Thursday. The official said the bomb was near where a soldier was killed by a similar device last month. The bomb was made up of two small devices and was discovered near the town of Abdeh, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity as he was not authorized to speak to the media. He also said the road leading to the border was temporarily closed as troops searched for other possible bomb sites.
