Hard-line Shi'ite Iraqi leader Muqtada al-Sadr, known for his staunch opposition to the presence of coalition forces in Iraq, said that if the American and British forces in the country would be replaced by UN troops, he would call on his men to assist them, Israel Radio quoted an interview Sadr gave, Sunday overnight.
"I will call on my men and my supporters to help [UN troops]," said Sadr, head of the Mahdi army, that often fights US troops in Iraq.
