Obama arrives in Jordan for talks with king on Middle East peace

US Presidential contender Barack Obama has arrived in Jordan from Iraq for talks with King Abdullah expected to deal with Middle East peace prospects.
Obama flew to a military field on the edge of the Jordanian capital Amman on one of four combat aircraft with US Marine Corps markings. He spent Tuesday morning in the capital of Iraq's Anbar province where he held talks with tribal leaders who last year joined US and Iraqi forces in the fight against al-Qaida militants.
His meetings in Ramadi wrapped up his two-day stop in Iraq, where he held discussions with Iraqi leaders on possible troop withdrawal initiatives and was briefed by top US military commanders.
