A Hamas-affiliated Islamic University professor was kidnapped by gunmen outside a Gaza mosque on Wednesday evening, Hamas reported.
The professor, Hamad al-Sousi, was abducted as he was leaving evening prayers, they said.
It was the first such kidnapping since a new Fatah-Hamas government took office Saturday.
