Report: Two Kurdish rebels, one soldier killed in violence in SE Turkey

Turkey's state-run news agency reports that two Kurdish rebels and a soldier were killed in southeast Turkey, where the guerrillas have been fighting for self-rule.
The Anatolia news agency says the two rebels were killed in clashes with government forces near a military outpost in Tunceli province.
The agency says the soldier was killed in a land mine explosion in Hakkari province, near the border with Iraq.
The Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) has been fighting for self-rule in southeastern Turkey since 1984. The violence has killed tens of thousands of people.
Turkish warplanes have carried out several attacks on rebel bases in northern Iraq. Turkish forces also launched a cross-border ground offensive in February.
