'Freedman stars as Brunch Bagels beats Cohen & Co.'

Willy Freedman put in a man-of-the-match performance over the weekend, scoring all the goals in Brunch Bagels’ convincing 4-1 win over Cohen & Co. in the Moshiko Soccer League.
In a fantastic team display, there was only going to be one winner with the smooth passing and movement of Shaul Tam and Shlomo Samson backed up by the solid defending of Bini Silverman and Shoko Omlis.
But it was Freedman who stole the show with four well-taken goals.
In a game of two very different halves, Osaka Sushi overcame Gamezone 2-0 in a fierce encounter.
Gamezone dominated for large spells of the first half but wasted some excellent opportunities.
Gamezone may have won the physical battle on the pitch but was left to rue its wastefulness, as a brilliant second half saw Osaka finally getting its game plan going.
Eli Borden scored a brave goal at full stretch and Yitsi Grunhut doubled the advantage with a sublime long distance drive into the top corner.
Eretz Hatzvi twice came from behind in an exciting 2-2 draw with Super Hamoshava United.
Ilai Wayman put Hamoshava ahead with a superb solo effort just before the break. The incredible Danny Kozielek claimed his 20th of the season after bursting through and finishing with power. Uriel Chayat made it 2-1 for Hamoshava while a fine Ezra Dulberg strike set up a frantic finish.
Karly Wasyng scored five for Mishcon Dereya in its 6-4 defeat of Michael’s Bakery. Josh Cantor completed the scoring while Aron Zimmer (two), Chaim Hommel and Eli Gilbert scored for Michael’s.
Netiv’s Bonkers turned in their best performance of the season, holding the mighty Brad’s Boykies to a 0-0 draw. In a super performance, Ari Nevis and Matt Marks pulled the strings earning Bonkers a valuable point.
