Games We Play: Blue Birdie Nomads land at Ga’ash

Dani Seker wins tournament with 21 Stableford points; Laetitia Beck takes second place.

The Blue Birdie Nomads Club held their semi-annual golf competition at the Ga’ash Golf course on Monday.
Nearly 50 golfers participated in the nine-hole individual 90% handicap, Stableford format tournament.
Dani Seker won the tournament with 21 Stableford points. In second place, playing off a +2 handicap was Laetitia Beck with 20 Stableford points.
With 19 points were Zalman Shachaf and Mark Joffe, with Zalman taking third place on the count out.
The Blue Birdie cup, for the player with the most birdies on the day, also went to Laetitia Beck.
Longest drive went to Tomer Koren.
Nearest to the Pin prize on the 13th hole went to Haim Shaininger, while on the 18th hole, the special prize of two nights at the Carlton Hotel went to Uri Meyer.
The players were also treated to a sleeve of Callaway golf balls.
At the prize-awarding and cocktail party held on the balcony of the Greenfield restaurant at the Ga’ash Golf Club at sundown, the Chairman of the Blue Birdie club thanked the Ga’ash club for hosting a very successful tournament.
The Golf course is looking forward to the monthly medal which will take place at the end of this month.
Ga’ash will also be hosting the “Natal” (Israel trauma center for victims of terror and war) tournament will be held at the beginning of this September.
