After a number of games were postponed due to the wet weather, a thrilling match in frigid conditions took place between Cup league-leader Lions Modi’in and third-place Sri Lanka Jerusalem in Israeli night cricket action this week.

While the Lions Modi’in bowlers performed well, the target of 44 was easily reached by the Sri Lankan Jerusalem players and they posted 54 to move up to second on the league table as Lions Modi’in slipped to third with Telalivit regaining the top spot.

This week sees the Gold Insurance Bet Shemesh Lightning team come up against the KAT ISRAEMPLOY Warriors in what should be a very tight match.

InHasharon.co.il will be looking for their first win in Cup league, but will find it hard against the red-hot Sri Lanka Jerusalem squad.
