Olympics: Israeli kayaker Kalganov finishes first in 500-meter heat

Israeli kayaker Michael Kalganov finished first in his heat in the 500-meter race in the Beijing Olympics on Tuesday and qualified for the semi-final of the event.
Kalganov won a bronze medal in the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
