Pezaro misses out on fourth medal

The 21-year-old clocks a time of 38.69 seconds and is beaten to the bronze medal by Olena Akopyan by 1.13 seconds.

Inbal Pezaro just missed out on claiming her fourth medal of the Beijing Paralympics on Monday, finishing the 50 meters freestyle S5 competition in fourth position. The 21-year-old, who has already won three silvers in China, clocked a time of 38.69 seconds and was beaten to the bronze medal by Olena Akopyan by 1.13 seconds. Iyad Shalabi ended the 50m backstroke S2 final in fourth position, the second time in the Games he's come within one place of winning a medal. On Tuesday, Israel's table tennis team will face France for the bronze medal and the wheelchair basketball side will play Germany for fifth position.
