The former vice president's appearance before the grand jury comes as he is exploring a possible challenge to Trump for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024.
Pence disclosed that he would not appeal a judge's ruling that requires him to testify about conversations he had with Trump leading up to the deadly attack on the US Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.
Trump's lawyers filed the appeal after a ruling related to the Justice Department investigation of efforts to undermine the 2020 presidential elections.
Their declarations of their love of Israel may be true, but they’ve been around long enough that their views aren't going to persuade most Jewish voters to back them.
Pence, who is considering a run for the Republican nomination for the 2024 presidential election, was whisked to safety by law enforcement during the attack.
"Our national security depends on the proper handling of classified and sensitive materials... I know that when errors are made it's important that they be resolved swiftly and disclosed," he said.
Pence visited Cornerstone Church in Texas for a fireside chat with Pastor John Hagee, founder of Christians United for Israel and talked about Iran's nuclear deal.
