Behind the scenes in the kitchen, we found three "savtot," creating authentic Moroccan food in the traditional way.

Another pleasant surprise awaited journalists on a press tour of the Ashdod Museum of Art-Monart Centre. A decidedly tasty one. The restaurant in the museum complex, located next to the Town Hall, has a special flavor all of its own. Put it down to "Granny Power." LaLa is run by a young restaurateur, Marcel Ben-Simhon, and her husband, but the very special touch is supplied by their staff. Behind the scenes in the kitchen, we found three "savtot," creating authentic Moroccan food in the traditional way. The restaurant, which operates independently of the museum, is kosher and also provides a retrospective ambiance, despite the modern facilities, close to the sea.
