The New York Times gave the Batsheva Ensemble a rave review when it appeared with Ohad Naharin's interactive Kamuyot at the Israel Non-Stop Arts Festival.
By JERUSALEM POST STAFFThe New York Times gave the Batsheva Ensemble a rave review when it appeared with Ohad Naharin's interactive Kamuyot at the Israel Non-Stop Arts Festival at the JCC Manhattan last weekend. Giving Naharin his due, the reviewer also lavished praise on the ensemble, saying that they "dance like demons and offer an honesty of response, to one another and to the audience, that is both moving and memorable."
Meanwhile, the Swedish cast of Kamuyot is also garnering praise for its appearances in schools all over Sweden. Kamuyot there is a joint project between Batsheva and the Riksteatern performing arts producing organization.
