Irit Segel Yisraeli is inaugurating an outdoor sculpture exhibition, entitled Fe, at Tel Aviv's Artists House. The pieces "conduct a discussion with the outdoors and passersby," according to the artist. It includes iron versions of natural objects with multiple layers of meaning.
Segel Yisraeli was born in Haifa in 1944, a fifth-generation Israeli. She was a basketball player until 1984, and has been an artist since 1985.
