Seminar updates 'Tcherli Katcherli'

The hit theatrical review in the 1970s, Tcherli Katcherli, took a wry and humorous look at what makes "Israelishness" in the then-Israeli society.

A hit theatrical review in the 1970s, Tcherli Katcherli - the name of a mythical Sabra observer - took a wry and humorous look at what makes "Israelishness" in the then-Israeli society. Now playwright, teacher and director Dani Horowitz set playwriting students at Seminar Hakibbutzim the task of writing a version for today. He edited and directed, and the result opens at the Seminar on June 22.
