The Foreign Ministry has announced that it will present Suzanne Dallal head Yair Vardi with a special prize in recognition of his untiring promotion of Israeli dance both here and abroad. The prize will be presented at the gala opening on May 14 of The Big Stage, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of Suzanne Dallal, the country's leading dance venue.
Batsheva Dance, Vertigo, Barak Marshall, Idan Raichel, The Montreal Grand Ballet, the National Ballet of Spain and Rita are among those participating in the festival, which takes place on a huge outdoor stage at the Suzanne Dellal plaza until June 6.
