Bank Leumi and the Tzomet Sfarim book chain will host an indoor, protected Hebrew Book Week event in Sderot on Tuesday. The bank will open its fortified branch to the bookseller, where Tzomet Sfarim's best-sellers (and other books) will be available for NIS 10-20. The move follows a similar event from last year, which was instituted when booksellers refused to set up Book Week in Sderot because of the danger of rockets from Gaza. The bank is the only business in Sderot fortified against rocket attacks, and can accomodate 100 people in an emergency. The book fair will run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
