"West Bank Story", a musical comedy set in the fast-paced, fast-food world of competing falafel stands in the West Bank, won an Oscar award in the short film category.
Directed by Israeli-born Ari Sandel, the film was also an official selection of the 2005 Sundance Film Festival.
