The Reshet Gimmel radio station is broadcasting a joint program with the Kol Hanegev student-run station (106.4 FM) every day beginning at 4 p.m. Owned by the local Israel Radio community stations, Kol Hanegev is operated by students at Sapir College in Sderot. The station is offering a current picture of the atmosphere among the young population around Gaza during these tough times. They will only play Israeli music.
Plus, Reshet Gimmel is offering its listeners the opportunity to "send a song" along with a live greeting to the soldiers fighting on the front. These well-wishers are on air daily from 8 a.m. until sundown.
