Pop rock band Mashina will take some time off from the recording studio to kick off a domestic mini-tour January 21 at Zappa in Tel Aviv. The concert bill will include songs from the band's 2003 reunion concert tour, as well as songs from the solo efforts of band members Shlomi Bracha and Yuval Banai. The concerts will also feature samples from the band's upcoming album, which is currently being recorded. With other band members including Avner Hodorov, Michael Benson and Igi Dayan, Mashina is considered one of the Israel's greatest pop-rock bands. The group started in 1985, broke up in 1995 and reunited in 2003.
