The "Clip Tza'ir" competition for music videos created by young directors is taking place this Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Tel Aviv Cinematheque. Begun 11 years ago in memory of Ori Sonin, who died at age 20 from leukemia, the competition allows 15- to 21-year-olds to gain exposure and recognition for their creativity. The 11 videos in the final round will be shown on a special program on the Music 24 TV channel, as well as on the channel's Web site. They will also be available on HOT VOD. Cash prizes will be given to the winning clips, and special honors will be awarded for directing, filming, editing, production, design and original idea. The judges panel includes professionals and artists, like Yoav Kutner, Guy Mimon, Asaf Harel, Gilad Segev and Lilach Sonin.
