A new program for young musicians with outstanding abilities has been launched at the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance, with the support of the Chais Family Foundation. The Chais Program for Excellence in Music will offer college-age students full scholarships and living grants, along with the chance to attend master workshops given by world-renowned artists and scholars. Participants will earn bachelor's and master's degrees. The program will start in the coming academic year. Candidates can apply via the academy's Web site: www.jamd.ac.il.
