What Keeps Us Apart?

What Keeps Us Apart?

The ISIS attack in Paris may have not have happened, if Israel was included in Europe's conferences on terror.

Europe, kept Israel out of its talks on terror, to appease Israels adversaries and paid a very high price for doing just that. The US, kept Israel out of its talks on Iran, that accomplished nothing for the US. Iran still threatens the US with destruction and has not renewed any new trade deals with the US since the agreement was signed

This is only our failure. We failed to use our exclusions to our advantage. We did not demonstrate the benefits to include us, in these talks. It is not that the world has a double standard for us, it is that we have a double standard for ourselves.

We do not brand very well. Branding, is what comes to mind when someone say something to you, like what are you thinking, when you hear the word, Palestinian, West Bank, Jew, Settler, Terrorist, Jerusalem and so on? We can turn these words into positive light in our favor.

We also do not defend negative statements made against us very well. We have so much resources to do this in a productive way, and truthfully to our advantage.

We need to use the proper devices while we allow the PLO to stay in Israel, and gave them entire communities to govern. We placed signs at the entrance of these community's that Jews and Israels are at risk for their lives should they enter. Have we been successful with this sign? Why do we not have these same signs on our side, keeping the Palestinians out? Is this what life is expected to be like under the of the PA? Is the International Community happy with it? Are the Palestinians enjoying a better life under Abbas, than the life they had under Israeli rule? Why are we not questioning our critics, on this? We left Gaza to Hamas. Why are we not asking our critics, to look what has became of it? Is this really what they want for these people?

Why do we not question those that pressure us to released terrorists from our prisons? Do they truly believe that this will bring a solution to problems? We entertain the establishment of a Palestinian state with our adversaries for over 22 years now. Why are we having a problem understanding it is not working? There is no solution in site. We have lost many love ones in the process. So, why are we not doing what is best for us, as well as what is best for the Arabs living in this area and not what our critics want us to do?

Why have we agreed to freeze settlement construction, when over 27,000 Palestinians depend on these settlements to earn an honest days pay with benefits? Why are we not explaining this to our critics? Why are

we accommodating the International Community, that wants to redefine our borders again and again, and not demanding that they honor the agreements put into law, that defines our borders just as they are now?

What world leaders are doing is “Bullying” us. It is an unwanted, aggressive behavior that is found among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose. There are many roles that kids can play. Kids can bully others, they can be bullied, or they may witness bullying. When kids are involved in bullying, they often play more than one role. It is important to understand the multiple roles kids play in order to effectively prevent and respond to bullying. Any responsible parent or guardian will say, stay away from them and if they touch you, hit them where it hurts most. This is the policy we must take against all those that bully us.

French media is reporting extensively about events held worldwide in identification with the country's grief following last Friday's terrorist massacre in Paris. However, solidarity events in Israel have not been reported. There is a silent boycott of the Jewish State which is more insidious, latent and even more dangerous because it undermines Israel's cultural superiority and cuts Israel's link with the rest of the world. We need to be heard.

In 2014, the UN Security Council held a meeting in Gaza City, to discuss the expansion of Israeli Settlements in the West Bank, the siege of Gaza and the status of East Jerusalem. Israel was not included in these talks. So, how can this possibly be resolved without Israels presents? We need to question its real purpose.

Should we be worried, or Obama be worried, as his attitude to radical Muslim governments in the region and by his willingness to freeze Israel out of two recent high level counter terror conferences? When Secretary of State Hillary Clinton went to Istanbul for a worldwide forum of 29 countries and the EU on fighting terrorism in 2012, Israel wasn’t invited. At a second such conference in Madrid, Spain, she had deliberately excluding Israel. In both meetings she failed to mention Israel as a country that has experienced terrorism. Clinton did it again that same year, in the United Arab Emirates, She excluded Israel, where she raised the issue of terrorism with its GCTF partners. John Kerry, in the 2014 UAE, GCTF meeting, excluded Israel. Israel was excluded from the 2012 NATO summit on Terrorism in Chicago. Why would Israel not be included in talks on terror, as is often the case after a major terror attack on a Western target? While for Americans terror means 9/11 and for France it now means 11/13, for Israelis terror is 24/7, 365 day a year. What was the message that Obama, Clinton and Kerry sent, when they each did not attend Benjamin Netanyahu address to the joint US session of Congress, both times? How can they be serious about resolving issues, if they refuse to listen to its major player? What benefits is there to exclude Israel from international conferences, forums and talks that concern Israel?

Why not include Israel in the Iran talks? Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying that if the deal being negotiated was a good one, why was there a need to hide details? Iran makes it clear repeatedly, they want to destroy Israel. This statement alone buys Israel a seat in these talks. Understanding the risks, why would the International Community exclude Israel from such talks with Iran on this issue? Iran, has successfully negotiated lifting the embargo on the purchase of conventional weapons systems. A non inclusion in the talks frees us to respond as we wish to prevent Iran's nuclear ambitions .

Obama and the EU are in secret talks with Abbas and the PLO, refusing to share the outcome of these talks with Israel. Abbas does not hide his intentions to replace Israel's government with his own, and rename Israel Palestine. By the US and the EU,not disclosing the outcome of these talks with Israel, Israel cannot be held responsible for what was said at these meetings and is free to follow its own policy to this issue, not revealing it to the US, EU and Abbas, keep them guessing.

By all accounts we must make it understood that the “Temple Mount” is ours. We were there first. After the Muslim conquest of Jerusalem in 637 CE, the al- Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock where built on the site of Judaisms Holy Temple. The Dome occupy the area where Judaisms Holy Temple previously stood. The Dome of the Rock, was built as a shrine in honor of the conquest over Judaism and the siege of Jerusalem against the Byzantine Empire. The Crusaders in the 11th century, made the Dome of the Rock a Church. Rabbis keep Jews from praying on the Temple Mount, regarding the actions of Aaron's two sons, where their sin was committed. It is believed that the two sons entered the Sanctuary unauthorized, drunk, and stood in the place only allocated for the holy priest, Aaron to stand. Aaron, was warned by God against entering the Temple to perform service while intoxicated, and not to made an offering that was not called for. This resulting in a "strange fire" which burned the two sons to death. We were here before Islam. Taking in all the narratives on the Palestinians right to return and land claims, Jews have an identical claim to Medina. Jews first settled in Medina after the siege of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar. The presence of Jews in Medina did much to prepare the way for Mohammed's teaching. Mohammed, decided to get rid the Jews, when they refused to accept his religion. The Jews that escaped his annihilation fled towards the north. Mohammed continued to attack Jews in exiles.

Academics have proclaimed that they intend to boycott Israeli universities. They know that the large majority of scholars and scientists around the world reject any discrimination on grounds of nationality and don’t believe in holding academics in other countries responsible for the actions of their governments. Then why the boycott?

This past Sunday Israel participated in the Judo Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi, and did so in absence of the Israeli flag, which was not allowed. In 2014, Dutch football club traveling to Abu Dhabi for training without its defender Dan Mori, who was not allowed into the UAE because he is Israeli. In 2009, the UAE refused Israeli tennis player Shahar Peer, to compete in the Dubai Women Tennis. We must make it clear, sports is not the area for politics.

In the UN, Israel finds itself being excluded from membership of any one of the now five "regional groups" of Members. All other Members of the UN belong in one form or another, these groups, have become an essential part of the whole working structure of the UN. It is simply denied participation to exercise influence and power, to nominate appointments to UN agencies. Israel uniquely finds itself, without doubt morally shocking, without any juridical explanation of partaking in the majority of the activities of the UN. It is in breach, not only of equality of treatment, it is in breach of the need for sovereign equality of treatment. The UN, is based on the principle of the sovereign equality of all its Members, to ensure them the rights and benefits resulting from membership. Israel's continuing exclusion from the regional group system is both unlawful and strikes at the roots of the principles on which the United Nations exists.

We need a more potent response to all these issues. We did very well over the years, beating all the odds against us. Today, we are a swelling “First World Nation” growing stronger. This demands a greater influence and dominance in our favor into the world arena.
